USING IT
The Flibitygiget is designed to be mounted on an extendable pole to provide you the ability to place ropes at heights normally out of reach without having to endanger yourself by climbing or throwing weighted ropes into trees.
Simply lay a weighted rope through the yoke and extend the pole over a limb of a tree 
then let the weight pull the rope over the limb.
The hook is used to relieve tension and retrieve the end of the rope.
If your backpacking, this may not be an issue, but family camping it sure is handy.
